In November 2011, Star of Hope opened a new sewing class in Jeanton School for men and ladies.
45 people, most of them ladies have registered to the sewing class that will last nine months of intensive sewing training ending July 2012. The students will receive professional level seamstress training.
They will be taught with appropriate technology and given design skills to enable them to produce products that are marketable both inside Haiti and outside.
